The Manager of the Home has actually been at the home for over 20 years her previous employment was as a nurse in the NHS she has also undertaken the NVQ Level 4 Registered Managers award.  She takes a personal role in the ongoing training of Moving and Handling as she is the trainer for this and encourages the development of all her staff.  She leads by example and often undertakes all new training herself so that she can help the staff in their training.  Recently the Home made Dementia training, Customer Service training and Equality and Diversity training mandatory for all care staff also.
