Our philosophy of care is simple: To strive for excellence in everything we do. The people who live at Bradley House and their relatives / carers are central in all we do.
We aim to provide holistic care fully involving both the residents and relatives, with in depth planning and review of care to ensure that physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs are met.
All of our residents are unique human beings and thus their care is specifically tailored to meet their individual needs.
At Bradley House we strive to preserve and maintain the core values of care, which are fundamental to the philosophy of our home, namely dignity, equality and diversity, privacy, rights and fulfilment.
As we get to know our residents, we come to know their personalities, those that need encouragement, those that need assistance and those that prefer to pursue their own adventures.
Comprehensive risk assessments are carried out when a resident first arrives at the home and this enables us to take a preventative approach to the care provided in order to maintain the resident's right to independence, choice and fulfilment through a responsible approach to risk. Our risk assessments allow us to keep our residents safe, but allow them independence and dignity.
Our residents are able to personalise their rooms to their own preference. They are able to bring their own belongings to the room, providing they comply with health and safety requirements. Our residents choose the time at which they get up and the time at which they retire to bed.
We offer our residents, their visitors and relatives privacy, be that in their own room or a quiet lounge area. At Bradley House our residents find a relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well being and comfort are of prime importance.
We like our residents and their relatives to be able to influence the menu, the activities and all other operational aspects of the home. Therefore the manager runs regular resident and relative meetings, where all these items are discussed and inputs taken into account during the planning of these operations.
We welcome any questions you may have so please don't hesitate to get in touch if there is anything you wish to know about the home or the care we provide.
