We have a wide range of services available to meet all long and short term caring needs.
Some may choose to stay with us at Bradley House to enable their carers to take a break for a few hours or for them to attend appointments, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is being well cared for both physically and spiritually.
However long the stay, we always do our utmost to provide an enjoyable experience and excellent service.
We are able to offer Respite care to cover any length of stay as needed.
Bradley House
Care Home
This may enable the carer to take a short break or longer holiday or in the case of an overnight stay to go out for the evening without worry .
Normal day care, extended day care and even hourly care can be provided with previous arrangement.
We encourage trial visits so that potential clients can experience life at Bradley House.
Bradley House is staffed by a well trained team whose aim is to provide the best possible care for the people in the home whilst giving their carers as much support as possible.
They recognise the privileged position that they have been placed in, being trusted to look after someone's loved one.
The staff at Bradley are perfectly competent to look after clients with ailments which could be treated in their own home.
They have a range of knowledge related to a number of conditions including dementia care and end of life care.
Our Team Leaders have received training in medication and are able to administer medications prescribed by doctors.
Supported by the Manager they lead the team in the provision of exceptional care standards.
Where possible the client remains in the care of their own doctor and dentist, but if the client has moved out of their own GP's area, then arrangements can be made with the local surgeries.
Arrangements for people to continue to be treated by their district nurse are always made and the staff have excellent relationships with all the nurses who visit.
We also have our own pharmacist who will collect and deliver prescriptions as needed, or if they prefer people may continue to use their own pharmacy.
Visitors are always welcome and can join clients for a meal or spend a couple of hours meeting other clients and experiencing activities.
